This could be seen in his perfectly maintained landscaping, his meticulous paint jobs, and in his professionally framed prints that still grace the walls of the homes of many of his family and friends. Walter had a gift for making things beautiful. He called Oakville home for over 40 years, raising his family and having many life-long friendships. Walter was a Bell employee for 26 years, and pursued his love of the arts in his post-retired life as a home renovator. He grew up in Welland, Ontario, and completed his Economics degree from Brock University. ![]() At the age of 4, his family immigrated again, this time to Canada. Walter was born in Marburg, Germany, his family having recently immigrated from Lithuania. Now, we can discuss a man with a keen eye for design and attention to detail. So, rather, imagine these words are embossed on archival ivory paper, expertly double matted and framed. It does not seem fitting to describe Walter using black ink on rough newsprint.
